Adroit Piping Systems has proudly been servicing a wide range of industries, locations, and applications since the early 1990s.

We are a leading manufacturer, fabricator, importer, and supplier of non-corrosive piping systems. We specialise in High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) products for Pressure, Water, Drainage, and Gas applications.

We operate across a wide and diverse range of industry segments and markets, including Mining and Industrial, Water Utilities, Civil and Infrastructure, Coal Seam Gas, Landfill, Agriculture and Irrigation, and Plumbing and Drainage.

In addition to pipe and fittings we also provide a number of value-added services, including custom and specialised fabrication, pipe butt welding, sales and hire of electrofusion and extrusion pipe welding equipment and machinery. We also provide certified in-house electrofusion welder training.

We have a fully equipped and accredited Service Centre to test, repair, and calibrate all major pipe welding machinery brands to OEM specifications and applicable Australian Standards.

Adroit Piping has grown throughout the ages.

Adroit Plumbing – 4th generation family plumbing business – established by current owner’s great grandfather.

1916

Adroit Plumbing Purchased 30 Mary Parade, Rydalmere.

1988

Adroit Plumbing Supplies launched. Supplier of PE pipe systems to plumbing contractors. Started in 30 mary parade alongside the plumbing business.

1995

Purchase of butt welding machines – fabrication of PE fittings commences. Purchase of 450 sqm warehouse at 30 Bridge St, Rydalmere to accommodate stock required for expansion of wholesale sector of business.

1996

Adroit Plumbing Supplies acquires distribution agencies for overseas manufacturers: Valsir (Italy) Fusion Provida (UK) Adroit commences importations of containers of electrofusion fittings.

1997

Purchase of additional butt welding equipment and tooling for in house fabrication Launch of hire business to service requirements of newly acquired clients in mining and oil & gas projects in NSW & Queensland.

2002

Adroit Plumbing Supplies becomes Adroit Piping Systems Growth of business necessitates acquisition of larger premises – relocation to 720 sqm warehouse at 10 Euston St, Rydalmere. Acquisition of distribution agency for Durafuse/GPS (UK) Adroit Plumbing Supplies becomes preferred supplier of electrofusion fittings to Tradelink and Plumber’s Supplies Co-op stores in NSW.

2003

Further expansion of wholesaling and manufacturing sectors generates requirement to increase fittings and pipe stock. This together with continued growth of fabrication and hire requires a relocation to a larger facility – a 1120 sq m office and warehouse at 67 Atkins Rd, Ermington.

2007

Major expansion of workshop equipment and hire fleet of butt welders and generators to satisfy increasing requirements – particularly in oil & gas and mining industries. Regular sales visits to major contractors in oil & gas and mining industries establishes increased client base and opens up lucrative opportunities for Adroit’s future expansion. Purchase of 1180 sq m warehouse and office at 69 Atkins Rd, Ermington. Workshop facilities expand with two gantry cranes – increasing efficiency and capability of manufacturing sector.

2010

Increased demand for manufactured items requires increased production capacity. Two 450mm and one 630 mm fabrication butt welders and a 630mm capacity band saw are purchased and commissioned. Four staff members who are qualified in butt welding PE pipe are employed full time in Adroit Piping System’s workshop. 2300 sq m pipe yard at 80 Hughes Ave, Ermington is acquired to cater for storage of pipe stock.

2012

As prospects open up with growth in the oil & gas and mining industries, plans for Adroit’s future expansion are made with a merger with Energen & All Pumps, operating out of a warehouse/ manufacturing facility in Toowoomba, Queensland. A suitable premises with a 1200sq m warehouse and office and a 4000sq m Hard stand Yard area, located at 720 Greenwattle Street Towoomba Qld.
